Things weren't looking good for Fire Emblem, one of our favorite tactics games. Then along came a new savior for the series: Fire Emblem Awakening.
Fire Emblem Awakening introduced a lot of interesting new mechanics to the series (for better or for worse), like the pair-up system, while also reacquainting the series with offspring units. FE Awakening is also known for its unbalanced gameplay that usually leads to play-throughs with only a handful of characters.
